New Delhi, Feb 03 (KNO): Union Home Minister Amit Shah will review Jammu & Kashmir’s security during a high-level meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday, official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
They said that the meeting will be attended by J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary Atal Duloo, Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, and top officials from paramilitary forces and intelligence agencies.
The meeting is likely to discuss the security plan for the coming months as snow will start melting, leading to the opening of infiltration routes along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Other issues that may come up for discussion include securing tourist spots before the commencement of the peak tourism season.
The meeting is expected to discuss steps to eliminate the terror ecosystem in J&K. The top security brass will apprise the Home Minister about the steps being taken to maintain peace across Jammu and Kashmir—(KNO)
